Data Products Disclaimer

The email lists and data products offered by The Email List Company are provided for legitimate business-to-business (B2B) marketing, sales outreach, and research purposes. By purchasing our data products, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

No Guarantee of Accuracy

We verify every list through MillionVerifier before it ships, but we can’t promise that every single record will still be accurate by the time you use it. People change jobs, switch companies, and abandon email addresses all the time. We verify everything before it goes out, but accuracy naturally drops the longer you sit on a list.

Accuracy Rates

Our verified lists typically come in under 5% bounce rate on “OK” emails. But your actual deliverability depends on a bunch of things we can’t control — your sender reputation, your content, your sending setup, and the recipient’s mail server. We can’t guarantee specific open rates, reply rates, or campaign results.

Compliance Responsibility

Users who purchase and utilize our data products are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

The CAN-SPAM Act
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Any other relevant federal, state, or international data protection and electronic communications laws

Prohibited Uses

Our data products may NOT be used for:

Harassment, threats, or any unlawful communications

Limitation of Liability

The Email List Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use our data products. This includes but is not limited to damages related to:

Email campaign performance or deliverability issues
Business decisions made based on our data
Legal claims arising from your use of our data
Lost profits or business opportunities
Email service provider (ESP) account suspensions or penalties

Email Verification Results

All our data products are verified through MillionVerifier. Our lists include verification status for each email address:

OK (Good): The email address exists and is safe to send to
Invalid (Bad): The email address does not exist — these are removed from our lists
Catch-All (Risky): The email server accepts all mail regardless of whether the specific address exists
Unknown (Risky): Verification could not be completed at the time of processing
Disposable (Bad): Temporary email address — these are removed from our lists

We strip out all Invalid and Disposable emails before the file ships. Catch-All and Unknown addresses may still be in there, but they’re clearly labeled so you can decide what to do with them.
