Data Hygiene and Email Verification

If you already have an email list and you are not sure how good it is, we can clean it for you. We run it through MillionVerifier and tell you exactly which emails are good, which are bad, and which ones are risky. You get back a cleaned CSV with a verification status on every single record.

Email addresses go bad faster than most people think. According to HubSpot, email databases naturally decay by about 22.5% every year. People change jobs, companies close, domains expire. If you have not cleaned your list in a year or two, a significant chunk of your emails are bouncing. Bounces hurt your sender reputation with internet service providers like Google and Microsoft. How It Works

You send us your list as a CSV file. Does not matter how big or small it is. We have cleaned lists with 500 records and lists with 500,000 records. Same process either way.

We run every single email address through MillionVerifier. Then we send you back the cleaned file with all the verification data included. The whole thing usually takes 1 to 3 business days depending on the size of your list.

What the Verification Results Mean

Every email in your list gets one of the following statuses:

Disposable	Bad	Temporary email that will expire	No
Catch-All	Risky	Server accepts all mail so the address may or may not be real	Use Caution

Additional Verification Fields

On top of the pass or fail result, every record comes back with these additional fields:

• MV Result – OK, Invalid, Catch-All, Unknown, or Disposable
• MV Quality – Good, Bad, or Risky classification
• MV Role – Whether the email is a role-based address like info@ or sales@ or admin@
• MV Free – Whether the email uses a free provider like Gmail or Yahoo
